In order for MailCleaner to correctly handle messages, respond to the interface and be able to use all network checks, you'll have to open some ports on your network.

These are:

Incoming:
- 25 TCP (smtp, from ANY or only from your frontend gateways)
- 80 and/or 443 TCP (optional, for user and administration interfaces)

Outgoing:
- 25 TCP (smtp, to ANY or your proxy gateway)
- 22 and 2401 TCP (Mailcleaner update, via sourceforge.net, but can be mirrored elsewhere)
- 80 and/or 443 TCP (Mailcleaner binaries and anti-viruses updates, to ANY or to your proxy gateway)
- 7 and 2703 TCP (Razor, to ANY, optional, can be desactivated)
- 24441 UDP (Pyzor, to ANY, optional, can be desactivated)
- 6277 UDP (DCC, to ANY, optional, can be desactivated)

Between different filters :
- 3306 and 3307 TCP (database synchronization)
- 22 TCP (Mailcleaner internal synchronization)
- 5132 TCP (web services)
